Hamb Named Forty under 40 Award Winner

GSLIS alum Christopher Hamb (MS ’04) has been named one of Central Illinois Business magazine’s 2012 Forty under 40 Award winners. The magazine, published by The News-Gazette, gives the awards to young professionals in recognition of their career achievements, leadership ability, and dedication to community service. 

Hamb is the owner of and developer/designer for Chrisp Media, a web and print design company in Champaign. He serves on the Champaign County NAACP Executive Board, Canaan Men's SAFE House Steering Committee, and the Salem Cyber Church Committee. He is the web ministry chair at Canaan Baptist Church and a mentor with C-U One-to-One Mentoring program. He was named one of United Way's Emerging Community Leaders in 2009 and an eBlackCU Difference Maker in 2010.

Christopher diligently works to 'make it happen,' whether it is digital or something else. He strives for excellence in anything that he does. He loves to take on new challenges and when faced with problems, he figures them out.
