Adjunct Lecturer Bobby Bothmann has been elected by the Americas Regional Council of OCLC to serve on that council and as a delegate to the Global Council, which guides and advises the OCLC cooperative. His three-year term in this role will begin on July 1.
Bothmann is the metadata and emerging technologies librarian at Minnesota State University, Mankato. At GSLIS, he has taught courses on bibliographic metadata. He is an active member of and has held leadership roles with the OnLine Audiovisual Catalogers organization and currently serves on the editorial board of Cataloging & Classification Quarterly.
Bothmann holds a master’s in library and information science from University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and a master’s in geography and English technical communication from the Minnesota State University, Mankato.
