Research Focus

Exploring ways to effectively equip community-based collaborative spaces with information and communications technologies in order to: bridge the boundaries between physical and virtual communities; enable communities to become active producers of interactive and multimedia content; provide a facility for citizen professionals to come together as communities of practice; and serve as a center for active communities of inquiry. Exploring ways to foster meaningful public engagement through service learning and action research.
