IS 590II International Information Associations and Policy

Introduces the international information policy-making environment and the role of international associations in fostering the world information society as well as the role of libraries, archives, museums, and other cultural heritage institutions in ensuring equitable access to information and knowledge to enhance people's lives. Considers international associations as both policy institutions and professional advocates for individual professional action and development and examines issues of ethics, diversity, and equity.
