Dissertation Proposal Defense: DeAnza Williams

DeAnza Williams will defend her dissertation proposal, "#BlackBoyJoy: Portrayals of African American male teens in young adult Contemporary Realistic Fiction published in the United States from 2000-2015." Everyone is welcome to attend.

Her committee includes Associate Professor Carol Tilley (Chair and Research Director), Associate Professor Kate McDowell, Violet J. Harris (professor emerita, College of Education), and Karla Möller (associate professor, College of Education).
