iSchool alumni named ARL LCDP Fellows

Four iSchool alumni are among the twenty-five professionals selected to participate in the 2018-2019 Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Leadership & Career Development Program (LCDP). These new fellows include Sandra Enimil (MS '09), head of copyright services for Ohio State University; Adebola Fabiku (MS '12), head of interlibrary loan & document delivery services for the University of Washington; Myung-Ja Han (MS '06), associate professor of library administration and metadata librarian for the University of Illinois; and Thomas Padilla (MS '13), visiting digital research services librarian for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

The yearlong program prepares mid-career librarians from historically underrepresented racial and ethnic groups to take on leadership roles in their careers and in the LIS profession. According to an announcement from ARL, "The ARL LCDP addresses the need for research libraries and archives to develop a more diverse professional workforce that can contribute to library success in serving the research, teaching, and learning of increasingly diverse scholarly and learning communities."
