Post a Job/Internship
Our Career Services office promotes employment and experiential learning opportunities to students and alumni through I-Link. I-Link is a free service that allows employers to post jobs, internships, and practicum that are of interest to the iSchool community.
Employers are required to create an account and register with I-Link before creating postings. The I-Link system will guide you through the registration process. Please be sure to select “Library and Information Science Career Services” as the primary recruiting office when creating an account. Employers will be notified via email when Career Services has approved the registration. Once registered and logged in, select “Create Job Posting (Non-OCR)” from the Shortcuts Menu on the right hand side and then click “Add New” on the bottom left of the next page to begin a posting.
Employers posting Internships (paid/unpaid), hourly positions, practicum, or volunteer opportunities should choose the “Internship/Co-op (Summer/Semester/Part-time)” position type.
University of Illinois campus employers who wish to post assistantships that generate a tuition waiver should choose the “Assistantship/Fellowship/Post-Doc” position type.
To begin the account registration process and to post a job, access I-Link here.
Please contact Michele Plante, employer relations coordinator, mplante [at] illinois.edu (via email) or at (217) 333-1102, with any recruiting related inquiries or for assistance when using the I-Link system.
