Preparing to Present: The Job Interview!

Many job interviews include giving a presentation on a topic or conducting an instruction session. Led by Lisa Hinchliffe, Professor/Coordinator for Information Literacy Services and Instruction in the University Library at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, this session will discuss strategies for negotiating/understanding what is required, planning and practicing the presentation, technology and handout considerations, and presentation tips, as well suggestions for handling disruptions, technology glitches, and other things that can go wrong. The session will include ample time for discussion and Q&A.
