Master of Science in Library and Information Science (MS/LIS) Program
As soon as an application is completed it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Preference is given to complete applications meeting the deadlines; however, we will accept applications as long as space is available. To ensure consideration, submit all application materials (including transcripts and letters of reference) before or by the following dates:

Master of Science in Information Management (MS/IM) Program
As soon as an application is completed it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee and an admission decision delivered soon after. To ensure consideration, submit all application materials (including transcripts and letters of reference) before or by the following dates:
MS/IM on-campus and online spring admission.
MS/IM on-campus and online fall admission.
K-12 Library Information Specialist Licensure Program
Students interested in earning an Illinois Professional Educator License with a Special (K-12) LIS Endorsement may apply to the K-12 LIS Licensure program after 8 hours of LIS coursework are completed. Deadlines for application for either MS/LIS or CAS students are October 1 for spring semester admission or February 15 for fall or summer semester admission.
Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) Program
CAS students may enter the program in summer, fall, or spring semesters. Applications are due March 15 (summer); June 15 (fall); and November 15 (spring).
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program
PhD students are admitted in the fall semester. All PhD applicants, including those who wish to receive financial aid, must submit their application no later than December 15.
