After earning her MS/LIS degree from the iSchool, Cate worked as the lead UX designer at Pixo in Urbana before moving to Kin + Carta in 2016. She has written for Code4Lib and presented at the Pygmalion Tech Festival in addition to numerous Web Conferences at the University of Illinois.
