Narcan Training at the iSchool

While opioid use and overdoses are on the rise, libraries can and are taking the steps to provide Narcan training for their employees. The iSchool recognizes the importance of this training and is offering two free sessions for students to learn these lifesaving skills.

Training will cover the opioid epidemic, recognizing and responding to an opioid overdose, and the administration of Narcan. All trainees will receive a certificate; in-person trainees will also receive a Narcan kit.
