2023 Women’s and Gender History Symposium
The 2023 Women’s and Gender History Symposium at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will showcase graduate papers that foreground histories of women, gender, sexuality, and/or queerness.
The 21st annual Women’s and Gender History Symposium at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will showcase graduate papers that foreground histories of women, gender, sexuality, and/or queerness that pay particular attention to gender variance and non-conformity broadly defined, with keynote presentations by Dr. Clare Sears and Dr. Toby Beauchamp.
The Symposium will be held from 11:00 AM-4:30 PM on March 3 and 4 in person at the Levis Center in Room 210 and over Zoom. Join us for hors d’oeuvres, light drinks, and an informal meet-and-greet with our keynote speakers following each day's session.
