Professional Pathways Spring Series: Nicole Helregel

This professional development event is going to be set up as a semi-formal conversation with students who are interested in exploring different pathways through library and information science!
Nicole Helregel is the Librarian for Open Science at New York University. She serves as the liaison to the Mathematics Department in the Courant Institute. Her research interests include open science (instruction, outreach, practice, and theory), scholarly communications, STEM librarianship, and data literacy. She has an MLIS ('13) and a CAS ('15) from the iSchool at the University of Illinois.
Professional Pathways invites a series of working professionals across library and information science to share their journey into their careers and experiences in the field! This is a career development series where students can understand the current professional landscape, and is not intended to be a career fair or employment seeking opportunity. The speakers cover a wide range of roles within library and information science, as well as information management, and as such this event is open to ALL iSchool students.
