Game Studies & Design Student Showcase

Please join the Game Studies & Design community for a celebration of students research and design! 

Schedule of Events

Informational tables, research posters, and game demos will be in 4045 (the Multi-Purpose room) from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. At the same time, there will be panel presentations of graduate student research in room 4165. Lunchtime refreshments will be provided. 

At 3:00 p.m., the plenary session will begin with an informational talk about the HEAT (Humanities, Entertainment, Arts & Technology) initiative, followed by a presentation by Krannert Center for the Performing Arts guest Lars Jan about his ROAM project, a mixed-reality performance using untethered XR (extended reality) headsets that takes its audience members 40,000 years into the past.

The panel presentations and the plenary session that follow the showcase may be attended via Zoom.
