NARCAN Training Hybrid Workshop

While opioid use and overdoses continue to be at epidemic proportions throughout the U.S., many libraries and information centers are taking steps to provide Narcan training for employees. The iSchool recognizes the importance of this training and is offering a hybrid session this semester to learn these lifesaving skills.

Training will cover the opioid epidemic, recognizing and responding to an opioid overdose, and the administration of the overdose reversal drug, Narcan. All trainees will receive a certificate; in-person trainees will also receive one free dose of Narcan.

All attendees should pre-register.
