Bolashak 2025-2026 Program Recognition
Global Education and Training (GET) and the iSchool are pleased to celebrate the accomplishments of the 2025-2026 Bolashak Scholars at the Bolashak 2025-2026 Program Recognition, celebrating the scholars’ successful completion of their programs, including the presentation of program completion certificates, and acknowledges the faculty, mentors, and partners who have supported them throughout their time at the University of Illinois.

In partnership with Global Education and Training (GET), the iSchool has hosted Bolashak scholars in Data Science since 2024, welcoming accomplished faculty and professionals from Kazakhstan for 6- and 12-month academic engagements.
More broadly, GET has hosted Bolashak scholars since 2021 across a range of disciplines. Sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of Kazakhstan, the program fosters research collaboration and global exchange among universities, research institutes, and government agencies.
This year’s program will conclude with two events that highlight scholars’ academic work and recognize their successful completion of the program. Faculty, mentors, colleagues, and partners are warmly invited to attend.
