Informatics Programs Fall 2026 Reception
The Informatics Programs Fall 2026 Welcome Reception and Poster Session annually brings together the broad Informatics community. Whether you've been involved with Informatics for years or are simply curious about what our students and affiliates are working on, we hope you'll join us.
At this event, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Welcome our newest PhD students and help them begin building connections across our community
- Meet current Informatics students and learn about their research through a poster session highlighting work from across the program
- Explore opportunities for collaboration with students and faculty working in a wide range of interdisciplinary areas
- Learn about new developments in Game Studies & Design, including the launch of the new MS in Game Design
- Reconnect with colleagues and make new connections across departments, units, and research areas
A special request to our faculty affiliates: Our students benefit tremendously from meeting faculty affiliates and learning about the many perspectives and disciplines that shape Informatics. Even a brief visit can help students discover new connections, research directions, and potential collaborators.
