Angelica Townsend joined the iSchool on March 17 as an office administrator. She will serve as the primary administrative support for the interim executive associate dean and the assistant dean for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
Townsend earned her bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Illinois. She previously worked at University Payables as a Chrome River and direct pay specialist and business associate.
"I'm confident in my skills and what I can add to the already promising iSchool community," said Townsend. "I look forward to learning my new role and being a valued member of the administrative team."
In her free time, Townsend enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and reading books.
