Adrienne Jackson joined the iSchool in June as assistant director of recruitment and admissions. In this position, she will support recruitment for all degree programs in the School, with an emphasis on the undergraduate program.
Jackson previously served as program coordinator and academic advisor for the Illinois Computing Accelerator for Non-Specialists (iCAN) program in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois. She holds a BA in English and MS in plant and social science from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and is currently working on her PhD in education policy, organization and leadership at UIUC.
"I enjoy helping young people accomplish their goals," said Jackson. "This position allows me the opportunity to help students make an amazing choice to join the iSchool."
In her free time, Jackson enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends, and her dog Bailey.
