Biography

In addition to teaching at UIUC, Lyrasis, and Library Juice Academy, Mēgan works full time with digital collections and digital exhibits, rare materials, and asset management. After graduating from the University of South Florida in 2011, Mēgan has worked as the Assistant Librarian at Florida State University’s Ringling Museum Library; as the Digital Collections Curator at State University of New York’s Purchase College; and as the Digital Collections Librarian at the University of South Carolina Libraries. She is currently the Head of Digital Projects at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Her research interests are ethics in informatics and ethics in labor practice; the creation of sustainable digital products and services; and UX research in digital librarianship.
