Coursework

The BS/IS program includes only seven required courses, and you can choose from a variety of electives to customize your degree. You’ll also have the option to pursue pathways in the following areas: information and culture, data and society, data analytics and data science, human computer interaction (HCI), and user experience (UX).

A total of 123 hours of course credits are required:

  • 21 hours of required courses
  • 30 hours of iSchool electives
  • 72 hours of general education requirements and electives outside of the iSchool
