She Changed Comics

This program highlights women comics creators, writers, artists, and publishers throughout the 20th century.

Betsy Gomez of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund will highlight women from her 2016 edited biographical collection, She Changed Comics, before opening up for a panel discussion with Nina Paley (cartoonist and animator), Mara Thacker (South Asian Studies Librarian), and Carol Tilley (iSchool professor and comics scholar).

The event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served.
