Improving Group Work through Personal Work Styles and Group Dynamics

Ever work on a team or do you plan to? If so, then you probably know that groups can be both the best, and worst, experiences of your personal and professional life. How can you learn how to approach group work in ways that are more effective for you, and more pleasant for others? Join this interactive session to explore different types of work styles, increase your self-awareness about your personal preferences in team settings, and gain strategies for how to improve group dynamics.

Presenter: Doctoral candidate Kirstin Phelps, former assistant director of the Illinois Leadership Center.

RSVP by October 18. Please RSVP to receive workshop materials in advance of the session.
