Rachael Tatman, data scientist at Kaggle, will give the talk, "Putting Together a Data Science Porfolio."
Tatman holds a PhD in linguistics from the University of Washington. Her personal research is on computational sociolinguistics, or how our social identity affects the way we use language in computational contexts. She is always happy to chat about machine learning, natural language processing, reproducibility, open data, or emoji. For more information, visit Rachael Tatman's website.
