Lynne (E.F.) McKechnie, professor emerita of information and media studies at Western University, Ontario, will present “‘I readed it!’ (Marissa, four years): What the research and the children themselves tell us about the experience of reading” as part of The Center for Children's Books (CCB) 2020-2021 Speaker Series.
Bio: Lynne (E.F.) McKechnie is a professor emerita of information and media studies at Western University, Ontario. She is the editor of Plotting the Reading Experience: Theory/Practice/Politics (2016) and co-author of Reading Matters: What the Research Reveals about Reading, Libraries, and Community (2006).
