Responsible DS + AI Speaker Series: Katrin Weller, GEISIS-Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences

Katrin Weller is leading the Digital Society Observatory team as part of GESIS’ Computational Social Science department at the Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, Germany. From 2021-2023 she is also co-leading the Research Data & Methods unit at the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS). In her work she looks into how researchers across disciplines use data from Web and Social Media Platforms as new types of research data – and how this leads to new challenges along the research process.
