David Charles presentation

David Charles will give a presentation in response to the prompt, "Given the current challenges and trends in information sciences, tell us how you are prepared to help our school’s program grow and thrive?"

Charles is a digital innovation and data analytics practitioner and educator. He is currently Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder of Talinnt Inc., a human centered HR technology and services firm. He was with Deere & Company from 2013-2020 holding positions as Program Executive, Enterprise Analytics Strategy; Director, Workforce Planning and People Analytics; and finally as Manager, Data-Driven Innovation at the John Deere Technology Innovation Center in Champaign. In that position he led research projects throughout the company in collaboration with faculty and students at the University of Illinois.  He has served as an adjunct lecturer for Babson College Olin Graduate School of Business teaching Global Connection through Technology.  He holds a BS in Management Information Systems from the University of Connecticut, an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and is completing his Ed.D. in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California.
