Professional Pathways Speaker Series: Charlie Farhoodi

Charlie Farhoodi is the Co Founder and Chief Operating Officer of AI Nexus Healthcare, a company specializing in population health screening using advanced AI technologies to deliver real-time, personalized risk stratification and non-communicable disease screening using nothing more than a smartphone. Charlie has held leadership roles in multiple AI startups, including COO at Sapient Shopping and was a founding team member of Schoold, an education tech app that became the fastest-growing in higher education with over 1 million installs. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, for 10 years Charlie worked on Wall Street managing a trading desk responsible for $7.5B in assets at J.P. Morgan's Private Bank. He holds dual Master's Degrees in Finance and Management, and Bachelor's Degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Florida. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys mountaineering, having summited peaks like Mt. Denali and Kilimanjaro.

This is a career development series where students can understand the current professional landscape, and is not intended to be a career fair or employment seeking opportunity. The speakers cover a wide range of roles within library and information science, as well as information management, and as such this event is open to ALL iSchool students.
