Riley is the associate director for access, collections, and technical services at the University of Missouri.

"I am thrilled to be the next person on a long line of hard-working librarians to have the opportunity of leading ACRL," Riley said in an American Library Association (ALA) press release. "The inspiring experience of working with a future-oriented Board of Directors will be wonderful."
