GSLIS Career Services is hosting a special series of Job Search Month events throughout the month of February. In addition to the services offered throughout the year—including one-on-one consultations, job search assistance, and interview prep—Job Search Month activities will feature on-campus and virtual events to help students prepare for the job search process.
“We have found that students who begin their job search early have a much less stressful job search experience,” said Becky Hodson, visiting career services coordinator.
“It’s never too early to start thinking about your career after graduation but it is especially important for upcoming May and August grads to get the job search underway. With Job Search Month, we have developed a series of events and activities that we hope encourages and supports our students through this process,” she said.
Throughout February, GSLIS faculty, staff, students, and alumni are encouraged to share resources, ask questions, and share advice using #GSLISadvice and following @GSLIScareers.
