Research focus

My research focus is the embodied information survival behavior of people with diabetes, especially as that behavior relates to the insulin crisis and insulin rationing. I discuss my own experiences of insulin rationing and engaging in healthcare advocacy to discuss the information mechanisms––communicative, reflexive, political, etc.––by which diabetics engage in constant survival.
