Graduate Advising & Support

Every academic journey comes with questions. What courses best match my career needs? Am I on the right path? A degree from the iSchool prepares you for success as an information professional in a variety of employment settings. Our graduate affairs staff are here to help you customize your degree and explore experiential learning opportunities to best meet your professional goals.

Advising is available to current, graduate-degree-seeking students at the iSchool. Limited advising is available for nondegree students. Appointments are conducted in-person, online via Zoom, or via telephone.

Prospective students who have questions about our programs are encouraged to email is-futurestudents@illinois.edu
