An Introduction to Hosting Github Pages

Join Dr. Jill Naiman and Dr. Matt Turk as we explore Github and how you can use it to share your work. In this webinar we'll be going over some ways to host a personal webpage for free using GitHub pages. After a brief intro to the GitHub ecosystem, we'll work together to get you set up with a Github account and make a storage location (a repository) for your personal webpage. We'll learn some ways to link data, figures, and website links using the Markdown, which is a way to format text into headers and paragraphs.
