Lipka joins the iSchool’s Recruitment and Admissions team

Emma Lipka joined the iSchool on April 6 as the recruitment and yield specialist. She comes to the School from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where she served as assistant director for marketing-admissions for graduate studies.

At the iSchool, Lipka will work with graduate students throughout the admissions process.

"My absolute favorite part of my previous position was working with students—from inquiries all the way until they became alumni. I am impressed with students' abilities and their passions, and I'm looking forward to working with the talented students interested in iSchool programs," she said.

Lipka earned her bachelor's degree in English and public relations and her master's degree in communication from Illinois State University. She looks forward to helping students make educated, thoughtful decisions about their graduate education and serving as a resource to help them make these decisions.

"I think the programs offered by the iSchool are innovative and very needed in today’s information-driven environment," Lipka said.
