Melissa Madsen, Director of Human Resources

Melissa Madsen joined the iSchool on August 2 as director of human resources. She comes to the School from the College of Fine and Applied Arts, where she served as the associate director of human resources.

In her new position, Madsen will oversee the human resources operations for the iSchool and serve as the primary contact for questions regarding HR policies and procedures.

"The iSchool's stellar reputation originally piqued my interest, but its ambitious growth plans and the opportunity to contribute were what really sold me on this opportunity," she said. "I am looking forward to the new academic year and contributing to the School's success in any way I can."

Madsen holds a bachelor's degree in political science and an MBA, both from the University of Illinois.
