Hope Bickers joined the iSchool on May 22 as an office manager. In her new role, she will provide administrative support for the associate dean for academic affairs and program directors.

Prior to joining the iSchool, Bickers worked on campus as an office support specialist for the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, providing administrative support to Title IX office and staff. She previously worked in nursing and in the Vermilion County State's Attorney's office, where she "fell in love with compliance and laws." Bickers looks forward to learning about the different committees in the iSchool and how they contribute to the School's mission.

In her free time, Bickers cares for her three sons, husband, and four "fur babies." She enjoys reading local laws and case studies and volunteering with shelter animals.

"Coming from a family of strong women, it's an honor to be part of a School that was founded by a woman 130 years ago," said Bickers.
