Career Fair Prep Workshop

Are you planning to attend the iSchool Networking & Career Fair on Friday, March 8 in Chicago? No matter where you are in the program, you should consider it because it is a chance to meet representatives from professional organizations, employers, and alumni. This is an opportunity for you to connect with the Chicago information community and learn more about roles in organizations of interest. 1st and 2nd year students (and alumni) will all benefit.

The keys to a successful fair experience are preparation and follow up. This workshop will prepare you to make the most of the event. We will cover some basic resume pointers, how to research companies and come prepared, and strategies for how you might pique recruiters interest and summarize your strengths in 20 seconds.
