Join Edna Tan, associate professor of science education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Angela Calabrese Barton, professor of teacher education at Michigan State University, as they discuss their book, STEM-Rich Maker Learning: Designing Equity for Youth of Color. They will discuss their research and how to address the needs of youth of color in community-based maker programs.
