Senior Research Scientist Martin Wolske and incoming CAS student Travis Faust (MS '15) were among more than 15,000 attendees of the International Society for Technology and Education (ISTE) annual conference. Held June 28 - July 1 in Philadelphia, ISTE 2015 drew teachers, administrators, media specialists, and other educational technology enthusiasts.
Wolske and Faust, along with alumna Miriam Larson (MS '12, CAS '13), led an interactive lecture titled, "Creating an After-School Collaborative Space in the Library."
Abstract: We believe it is critical to make time for community. With a focus on technology and literacy for the community, we'll share our unfolding story of creating an after-school collaboration space. We’ll use popular education activities and small and large group discussions to explore what your collaboration space might look like.
